Our Approach
Our approach to therapy is at its core humanistic. The humanistic approach in psychology is a holistic approach that focuses on the individual, their free will, and their potential to achieve their full potential. It emphasizes the importance of subjective experience and each person's capacity for self-determination. It assumes that every human is good at core and wants to do good but circumstances make them do things differently sometimes. This is our core approach. However, we combine all schools of psychology to make a treatment plan. We make a custom combination of approaches, techniques, and tools for every client. It is a unique combination for every client.
Duration
A standard session lasts for about 45 minutes to 60 minutes. We usually have 1 hour sessions unless there is some unique situation where a different duration is necessary.
Frequency
The standard frequency of sessions is once a week, so 4 sessions per month. In case, the issue at hand is very distressing and you are highly affected by it, we can discuss scheduling 2 sessions per week if necessary
